Peggy (80751) is the Dog of the Day from the Oregon Humane Society.
Peggy is a two year old Sharpei / German Shepherd mix. She is an amazingly adventurous girl who is looking to find an active home. Peggy knows exactly what she wants out of life. She is very sensitive to over handling, so a home without children will be needed. Although Peggy lived with another dog in the past, she has decided that she wants to have all the attention for herself. Over some time she may realize that she wants some company, but she will let you know when she feels comfortable with this. During her time at OHS, Peggy has started to learn obedience commands - she now can "sit" on command and is learning how to master a front clip harness. Peggy's ideal owner will be one who understands the Sharpei breed.
Peggy's adoption fee is $55, which includes a collar, ID tag, microchip, free vet examination, one month of pet health insurance, a training consultation, and plenty of information. All pets at the Oregon Humane Society are spayed or neutered and subject to prior adoption. Visit Peggy at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., or call 503-285-7722 for more information.
