Pebbles is an older Chow Chow/Shepherd mix who is quite shy in her current home and would like a quiet home where she is the only pet and with older dog experienced children. She is ready to be pampered and loved in her senior years!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Pebbles. She is a sweet but shy older Chow Chow/Shepherd who is looking for someone to love. Pebbles may not be the type of canine who comes running up to you the right off bat, but give her time to get to know you and you will see her true colors blossom. It may take her a little time to adjust to her new environment, but with encouragement and patience she should soon fit right in. Pebbles will take time to bond to her person and doesn't always like to share her space and things, her person included. We recommend that Pebbles go to a dog-experienced home with older children and no other pets. If you've been looking for a sweet older gal to give a wonderful life to, Pebbles is just the dog for you! You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half prior to closing each day.

Pebbles adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
