The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Papoose.! He is a sensitive guy with a sweet spirit. Papoose has the need to feel safe and secure and he is in search of that special someone that can give him the loving home he deserves. He may take a little extra time to warm up but once he knows he is safe he loves attention and will gladly accept gentle pets and chin scratches. Papoose is a real sweet fellow and the time it takes for him to adjust to his new home will be well worth the wait. His history with other animals and children is unknown, so any introductions should be taken slowly. Due to his quieter nature, we would recommend a home adults only, or with older cat-savvy kids. During his adjustment time it will be important to let Papoose come to his humane on him own timetable. Let this handsome cat edge his way into your heart!
