The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Palitas. He is at our Westside adoption Center which is located inside Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club on 6100 SW Macadam Ave. Portland 503-327-8219. He is a sweet and loving fella that can't wait to find his new best friend in life. This little man is a one year old Chihuahua mix (some folks say the mix is a mini pin) looking for a place to call his own and a companion to spend that will spend lots of time with him. Palitas is a very high energy fellow. At Lexi Dog Palitas spends his days in a large group area alongside other dogs in a doggie day care facility. If you want to know how your potential new best friend gets along with other dogs, this is the place to visit! We don’t know much about Palitas background as he came to us through our Second Chance Program from CA. Palitas attended an event with lots of people and lots of dogs and did amazingly well. He is very high energy and will enjoy going places with you and becoming familiar with his new surroundings with you by his side. Palitas would benefit from attending a Basic Manners class such as the one offered by the Oregon Humane Society.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Visiting and adoption hours at the Westside Adoption Center are 10-6 on Monday-Friday; and 10-4 on Saturday-Sunday.
