Packard is a very shy four year old Spaniel mix that recently came from the Merced CA area as a part of our Second Program to give her a chance to find a home. She is very sweet, but very shy and will need a quiet home to help feel more at home quickly! Meet her today at the Oregon Humane Society!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Packard. This little girl is friendly and affectionate, once she gets to know you. But she is shy, however if you come up to her quietly you'll find she is ready to sit in your lap for some quiet loving. Somewhere at some time people have have been gentle and sweet to her. So the same type of patience and understanding is a must. She will be a slow to make friends gal who is looking for someone to love and will need to have you give her time to get to know you before you will see her true colors blossom. It may take her a little time to adjust to her new environment, but with encouragement and patience she will fit right in. Packard  is a small  four year Spaniel mix that comes to us from the Merced County Animal Control in California through our participation in the Second Chance Program. She is a truely loveable gal that when she accepts you she will sit in your lap for gentle petting and loving. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

The adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
