The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Popper (112274).  He is one happy and energetic little three year old Chihuahua mix.  He loves nothing more than to take part in fun games and play with his favorite toys.  He cannot help but chase cats, so he will need to find a cat-free home.  Popper's energy level greatly exceeds his size and he will need daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy.  He enjoys spending his time with his best friends and favorite people. Popper came to OHS through our Second Chance Program from Dogs of the Gorge.  He can be snappy with young children and will do best in a home with kids who are old enough to understand his personality.  If you have a resident canine friend a pet meet between the two of them will be necessary prior to adoption.  You can visit with Popper at the Oregon Humane Society at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722).  He also has a video you can watch

Popper's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
