This isn't PDX's best photo. This blue tabby is much more handsome! He is at prime of life and looking for a "furever home" where he can be the object of love, lap sitting, a nice soft bed and lots of good treats!

This happy little cat is PDX (shelter # 120994), and he is the Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day. He is a wonderful lad that is looking for the purrrfect home. PDX is mild mannered and enjoys being around his friends. He can be talkative and enjoys having little chats with his friends. PDX is an older gentleman that is looking for his retirement home, and a home that will give him lots of love.  He came to live with us because there were too many animals in his previous home. PDX has experience with both dogs and cats but at this stage of his life he just may appreciate receiving all of the love and attention and becoming king of the household. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

PDX's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
