The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Jocelyn (117008). She a very special five year old lady! She's had a bit of a rough start and is now ready to settle down and receive some much needed TLC. New situations or people can make Jocelyn nervous, so she'll need to go to a family that understands that it might take her some time to get comfortable. With plenty of patience and some encouragement, she might just show you what an affectionate young lady she can be! One of Jocelyn's favorite things to do is to play with ribbon, and she tends to play gently. She has previously lived with other cats and got along just fine with them; however her experience with dogs and children is limited, so a home without dogs or with older, more cat-savvy kids who can respect her space might suit me best. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.
Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
