Meet Maximus, a 3-year-old Labrador mix who is our OHS Dog of the Day! His OHS ID number is 126753 if you'd like to learn more on the OHS website. We have a video of Max that you can watch, too!

Max is a shy guy who is still learning to be confident and trusting of strangers entering his home. He will need a low-traffic home, one without a lot of people coming and going, and one that is willing to take things slow when new people visit. He will also need a home with older, mature children who understand that he startles easily and does not like fast movements. Max needs to be the only dog in the home. He is a sweet boy who likes to spend time with his people. He will enjoy a place that allows him to settle in and be pampered like every canine should be. A training consultation is included prior to Max's adoption so you will have the best start to your new life together.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
