Notch has been a stray and is now ready for the good life of being a indoor cat. He likes being around his people and playing with toys. You can be the one to show Notch what is like to be a pampered cat!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Notch. This sweet kitty was rescued by a good samaritan after found living outdoors. Even though she is used to living outdoors, Notch wouldn't mind the indoor life. We’re sure she could easily get used to having a nice soft bed in a special place, or even maybe sharing yours, and regular meals of good food! She enjoys hanging around her people, playing with catnip as well as just lying about. Notch is used to living around other kitties, but has no history living with dogs. Notch would like to get the chance to get to know you and see if you can be her new best friend. You can meet her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday.  Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Notch’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
