The Oregon Humand Society's Cat of the Day is Nutmeg (119126). She is an adorable two year old brown tabby waiting to become your lifelong pal! She can be a little timid and shy when introduced to new surroundings, but she is also known to shadow her favorite people all around. Nutmeg has spent lots of time outside, but is ready to transition to a much warmer life indoors. This pretty lady may require some extra time to adjust, in a quiter home environment with older, cat savvy kids and no dogs. She has lived with other cats and would "purrhaps" love a feline friend. Adopt Nutmet and a second adult cat is free! Can you provide the loving home Nutmeg is waiting for? You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Societiy, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (a503-285-7722). Visiting hours are 9 am to 7 pm Sunday throught Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday throught Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each night.
Nutmeg's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
