Rocky has recently had a rough life and his potentially gorgeous coat shows neglect. He must live indoors as he has been declawed and is allergic to fleas! He'll do best with older cat savvy children. You can give this fellow the loving home he deserves! Come visit him today at the Oregon Humane Society!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Mr Rocky Flufferton. This dashing six year old gentleman would very much like to make your acquaintance. He came into the shelter after being dropped off at someone's house. Mr Rocky Flufferton believes he has been homeless far too long and would appreciate a soft couch to crash on for the rest of his life. He can be a bit shy at first meeting, and would appreciate going to a calm home with older, cat savvy children. Rocky's past is largely unknown, though he must be an indoor only cat as he has a sensitivity to fleas and is declawed.   His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption. You can visit with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.

Adopt any adult cat or kitten and take home a second cat or kitten FREE! Due to popular demand, this offer has been extended indefinitely. The Oregon Humane Society is stocked with lots of kittens and adult cats who all need wonderful, caring homes.

Kittens are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside at Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club, 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. They all live in “colony rooms” with their fellow felines. Dogs are also available at the Westside Adoption Center.  If you want know if your potential new best friend gets along with other dogs, this is the place to visit. OHS dogs spend their days in a large group area alongside other dogs in a doggie day care facility.  Visiting and adoption hours for both kittens and dogs are 10-6 Monday-Friday; and 10-4 Saturday-Sunday at the Westside Adoption Center.
