Monroe (85228) is the Dog of the Day from the Oregon Humane Society.
Monroe is a sweet two year old Chihuahua who is looking for a home to call his own. Monroe came to OHS from a shelter in Los Angeles, California through the Second Chance program. Because he came from another shelter, there is no history on Monroe, but it has been observed that it takes him time to warm up. Once he feels comfortable, he will be warm and affectionate with people he knows, though probably still a bit reserved with strangers. Monroe seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, but he will need to meet any canine members of the family before going home.
Monroe's adoption fee is $250, which includes a collar, ID tag, microchip, free vet examination, one month of pet health insurance, and plenty of information. All pets at the Oregon Humane Society are spayed or neutered and subject to prior adoption. Visit Monroe at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., or call 503-285-7722 for more information.
