The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Monchichi (shelter #135289). She is a shy yet charming one and half year old Schnauzer mix who is searching for patient owners with a relaxed lifestyle and enough patience to guide her and help her come out of her shell. She will need some time and space to settle in and adjust to her new life but she will becomea good buddy. Once she's comfortable, she loves to go on walks, play, and spend time curled up with my best friends. If you like to relax on the couch with a good book or a favorite movie, Monchichi will be right there with you. She may always be a bit on the shy side but is ready to be loved as she is. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-8822. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
