The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day Mitzi. If you're on the search for an adoring little (only a bit over 6 lbs) lady who enjoys lap time and has a gentle disposition, Mitzi's your girl! Many would say she's pretty much perfect. There's only one catch: she doesn't like other cats and dogs. Mitzi feels it's her life mission to protect her human family from other animals and spends copious amounts of time plotting her attacks on other four-footers and it broke her previous family's hearts to have to give her up because of this (another cat lives in the home) and because they love all of her wonderful qualities: cuddly, healthy, clean, and joyful. For obvious reasons, she must go to a home with no other pets where she can be your one and only and receive your undivided love and attention. Her disposition with children is uncertain. Come and greet her with salutations, and let this be the beginning of a long and beautiful friendship! Meet her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.
Mitzi’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
JULY SPECIAL: Adopt any adult cat or kitten and take home a second cat or kitten FREE! This offer is good through July 31. OHS is stocked with lots of kittens and adult cats who all need wonderful homes: please consider adopting a pair this July!
