The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Mittens (shelter #135102). She is a sweet seven year gal in search of a quiet home where she'll get lots of love. She is an energetic cat who enjoys playing with toys, and she likes to chat with her people. Her previous owner describes her as an independent gal, and although she has lived with other cats and dogs before, she will probably do best as an only pet. You can be the one to give this deserving senior citizen the home and TLC she should be receiving. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10am to 7pm on Sunday to Wednesday; and 10am to 9pm on Thursday to Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each night.

Mittens’  adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
