The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Mittens (shelter #135102). She is a sweet gal in search of a quiet home where she'll get lots of love. She is an energetic cat who enjoys playing with toys, and she likes to chat with her people. Her previous owner describes her as an independent gal, and although she has lived with other cats and dogs before, she will probably do best as an only pet. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption time ends one half hour prior to closing each day. Her fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support
