The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Miley. She is an active seven year old Treeing Walker Coon hound that is looking for an adventurous home. She will do best in a home that can provide her with daily exercise and further training. Miley loves to follow her nose and will need to be closely supervised when outdoors. A home with breed experience will be best for Miley. She can be vocal at times and may not do well living in an apartment. Miley spent most of her time outdoors in her previous home and will need help adjusting to the luxuries of indoor living. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday through Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday through Saturday. Adoption hours end at 6:30 On Sunday-Wednesday and at 8:30 on Thursday-Saturday.

Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
