The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Mike. He is a four year old German shepherd mix that came to us through the Brooks rescue. Mike came with his sister Carol however they do not need to go home together. He is a very handsome fellow who likes to be around his people and will be a bit shy at first. He will need a home that can be patient with him and help him adjust to his new surrounds with support and encouragement. Mike enjoys being close to you and will want to be a part of what you are doing while he becomes a member of the home. He enjoys going on walks in the neighborhood as a part of his daily exercise. A medical consult is included prior to his adoption. He has a video you can view it at http://www.oregonhumane.org/adopt/detail.asp?animalID=141236. You can meet with Mike at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
