The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Maxwell. He is a sweet four year old Labrador mix in search of his forever home. Maxwell loves people and would like to spend lots of quality time with his new owners. He has done well with other dogs while at the Oregon Humane Society, but will still need proper introductions. Maxwell can be a bit of a vocal boy, so apartment life may not be best for him. This sweetheart would love to go for nice, long walks with you! Maxwell walks well on a leash and has learned sit, shake and down which he happily performs for a treat! He is full of life and love; he is just waiting to find someone to share it with. A medical consultation is included prior to his adoption. You can meet with Maxwell at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday- Saturday. Adoption time ends one half hour prior to closing each day.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
