Maude is a real beauty, she'll be shy at first, but give her a nice comfortable place to sleep, a cushion in front of the window and some gentle chin scratches and she'll soon be your best friend!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Maude. She is a beautiful middle aged blue tabby searching for a quiet, loving home. Maude is fairly unsure of herself in this unfamiliar environment she is in now and will appreciate a home where she will be allowed plenty of time to adjust. Once she gets to know you, she loves snuggles, chin scratches, and petting. Maude gets very attached to her people and will do best in a home where she gets to spend a lot of time with them. Maude would prefer a home with just adults and no dogs. You can meet Maude at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Maude’s adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
