The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Marty (shelter #133582). This adorable little five month fellow is playful, sweet and is spending is daytime working the crowd than comes by his area at the Oregon Humane Society. As you get his attention a paw comes out to play with you and he comes as close as possible so you can pet him and scratch his ears with your fingers. He has amazingly soft fur and will rub as close as he can through the wire. He is doing everything he can to say “Please, take me home!”  He may not be as time and as cute as the two month old kittens, but he is on his way to becoming a real companion. Play is still an important part of his development and he will need you to be patient with him as he becomes a teenager and than an adult. He would love to have access to lots of toys and daily playtime. If you are ready to care for an adorable boy and give him the love and attention he needs, he will repay you with lots of fun and love! You can meet with this great fellow at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
