The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Marcus. He is a quite cute little one year old Terrier mix. When on a leash he trots right along as if he owns the world and he belongs to the person at the other end of it. He came from California as a part our Second Chance Program to find his forever home. Marcus seems to love attention from people and we are sure he will enjoy taking daily walks and enjoy meeting new people and going to new places with his new people by his side. All he wants to do is find a place to call his own. If you have been searching for a pint-sized outgoing, furry companion that you want to spoil then look no further Marcus is waiting to meet you and show off how great of a companion he has to potential to become. His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.
