The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Marco. He is a handsome black and white cat who becomes attached to people who are nice to him and bonds strongly to his main human and likes to follow them around the house, greets them at the door, and sleeps in bed at night. He likes to be held and petted and will gently nip at your arm until you put it around him. He also likes to play and lounge on chairs. Marco is spooked by loud noises and afraid of young children and other animals. A quiet adult home with only older, mature children if any would be best. Spend a little time getting to know Marco and see if it's a match!
You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 Sunday-Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day. The adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
