Maggie is a great gal, she likes every one and every type of animal she has met! She wants to be a complete family member and take part in every thing that is happening, including car rides! She'll be a bit shy at first but will soon become a true, loyal and trusting friend!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Maggie. She is a nine year young Labrador mix and we are assisting him in finding someone who will spoil her through her golden years. Maggie has lived with cats, dogs, goats, cows and children and did well with all of them! Her muzzle may be greying, but she still has quite a spring in her step. She enjoys riding in the car, going for walks, and spending lots of time with her people. Maggie is an easy-going girl but can get anxious in new places at first, so will need to find someone who will help her adjust to her new surroundings with patience and kindness. In turn they will be rewarded with a faithful loyal friend.  Maggie tells us to let everyone know “I hope that someone will want to be my forever friend very soon!” Maybe it will be you! You can visit her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are Sun-Wed 10-7 and Thurs-Sat 10-9 and adoption hours are Sun-Wed 10-6:30 and Thurs-Sat 10-8:30.

Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
