The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Max (116810). He is a handsome and distinguished nine year old gentleman who seeks a home where he will get lots of TLC. This sweet fellow likes to be petted and gives great headbutts. We don't have a whole lot of information about his past, so introductions to other pets should be made gradually. Give Max time and he will find his favorite spots in your house and where to catch any rays of sun that make it thought the clouds. He can be independent at times, and would probably do best in a home with older kids. Max can't wait to find his perfect forever home. Adopt him and a second adult cat is free. You can visit with Max at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722). We are open from 10 am to 7pm on Sunday through Wednesday; and from 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday through Saturday.
Max's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
