The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Luna (shelter #128044). She is a very sweet and affectionate four year old Mastiff/Pointer. She will need some time to settle into her new home but once she is comfortable she will show you her amazing personality. Luna can be picky when meeting new dogs but loves the great outdoors and will make a great companion for someone that enjoys going on adventures and playing fun games. She has never lived with cats and needs a cat-free home. A training consultation is included prior to her adoption. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm Sunday-Wednesday: and 10 am to 9 pm on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.  Watch the Oregon Humane Telethon, Sunday October 14th from 1pm - 5 pm KATU Channel 2.
