The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Ling Ling who is a sweet and handsome red tabby whose favorite hobbies are sitting on laps, basking in sunbeams, and chatting with his favorite people. According to his previous owners, he has coexisted nicely with dogs in the past as long as they respect his space. Ling Ling has a mixed history with cats and may do best as the only feline in the home. As an eight year old kitty he can be independent at times so a home with older, cat-savvy children might be best. Ling Ling is FIV+, which means he will need to live indoors only. A staff member will be glad to answer any questions you may have about FIV. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.
As a senior kitty Ling Ling’s special adoption fee of $12 includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
