The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Luke (shelter #137134). He is a super sweet, super handsome and super well-adjusted young dog! Luke is a one year old Terrier mix who can’t wait to find his new best friend in life. This little man is looking for a place to call his own and a companion to spend lots of time with. Luke will enjoy going places with you and becoming familiar with his new surroundings with you by his side. His handsome face and endearing personality will capture your heart and make you ask yourself how you ever lived without him. Luke came from the Safe Haven Humane Society through the Second Chance Program. Just wait until he has been groomed and he will be the most handsome fellow on the block! He is at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside the Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club at 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. Here Luke is joining the other dogs that come in for doggie day care each day so we know he gets along well with dogs of all types, ages and sizes. Adoption hours are: 10 am – 6 pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday; 11 am – 6 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday; and 10 am -4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Call 503-245-4363 to check on Luke’s availability.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption
