The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Lobo (111149).  Are you looking for a buddy that keeps you moving and active?  Lobo is a busy almost two years old red colored Mini Pinscher mix looking for a home to match his love for life.  He is definitely a big dog in a small dog's body.  Although he is a lap-dog size, Lobo will need training and would do best in a home that will provide him daily exercise.  Lobo can be a bit of a rough player, although with some help from you, he can learn to be a better canine citizen.  Because of his rough play style he will do best in a home with older children that are dog savvy.  He also cannot go to a home with cats because he thinks it is too much fun to chase them!  Lobo will really benefit being in a home with the time and patience to train him and continue his socialization with the outside world.  He needs to work a little bit harder on focusing as he has the potential of being a great little buddy.  A training consult is included in his adoption to go over his need for continued training.  Come visit Lobo at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-258-7722).  www.oregonhumane.org

Lobo's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
