The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Lisa (105685). She is a sweet, affectionate three year old German Shepherd who loves lying around with her favorite people. She has been living with us for over a month now, and recently went through some big changes! She is now adjusting to life on three legs and would love a home where she can take her time settling in. Lisa will need help with training and socialization, as she was living outdoors in her previous home and was not getting enough attention. Lisa does display some typical German Shepherd traits and may not be for a first-time dog owner. Also, due to her sensitive nature, she will need to find a home with older children who will not overwhelm her. Herding breeds have a strong desire to chase smaller animals, so Lisa may need to find a cat-free home as well. You can meet Lisa at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722) www.oregonhumane.org..
Lisa's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
