The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Lexie (111662). She is the dog to fill the empty spot in your lap! She is a sweet and loving one year old little Chihuahua that would love to be held and cuddled by her people. Lexie is still young and would greatly benefit from positive training and socialization. She would benefit from taking part, along with one of her new human family members, in some of the Training Classes offered by the Oregon Humane Society that could assist her in meeting her potential to be come a great canine citizen. Because of her small size, Lexie gets a little nervous in new situations and around small children and would do best in a home with older kids or just adults. So if you have the perfect lap, then Lexie could be the perfect four legged friend for you! Come visit with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-258-7722).
Lexie's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy vet exam and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
