The Oregon Humane Society's Cat of the Day is Laura (117002).   She is one of the cats from the most recent investigation case.  She, along with her feline friends, were removed from a hoarding situation and then brought here for some much needed rest, TLC and an opportunity to start a new life.  Laura will require some special consideration in your home because of her past living situation. As much as she might like to be a happy-go-lucky cat, that isn't who she is at this point, but it might be who I become in time.  Laura will need all of her new family to be patient and understanding withher as she slowly adapts to you and hear new environment.  She will need to be confined to a quiet room with a litter box, food, toys and water will help her feel safe as she slowly settles into my new life with you.  Come visit Laura at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-285-7722).  Adoption hours are Sunday-Wednesday from 10 am to 6:30 pm and Thursday-Sunday from 10 am to 8:30 pm.

Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!  Availability is subject to prior adoption.
