The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Kona (shelter #130165). She is a sleek, gorgeous little seven year old Coonhound who's looking for fun, adventure, and a warm lap to curl up on at the end of the day! Well, maybe she is too big for a lap, but she would like to lie next to you. Kona is bonded with Mocha # 130164 and they will need to go home together. Kona has been used to being on lots of property with lots of room to run. She would not do well in an apartment or city setting. She would do best with someone who understands the Hound breed. She has lived with children and farm animals in the past. You can meet with her at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 am to 7 pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 am to 9 pm Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.
