The Dog of the Day from the Oregon Humane Society is Kenai (88009). He is a 2 year old German Shepherd mix . He loves to be petted and will demand so by nuzzling your hand. Kenai was brought to the Oregon Humane Society because he was spending too much time in the backyard and started to get bored! Kenai has a good history with other dogs, but will need to meet any resident dogs prior to adoption. He was living outdoors in his previous home and will need time to adjust to indoor life, and will need owners who can be patient with him during this time. Kenai will also greatly benefit from regular exercise and training so that he can shed some excess weight and start feeling his best!
