The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Junior. He is a two year old fellow that brings some spice as well as something nice! This sassy and charming fellow still has the spunk of a kitten and is always up for a game of anything with playmates ranging from crackly paper bags to insects. Major life changes understandably unnerve him, so be sure to allow him the time and space he needs to adjust to a new home. Once he's gotten his bearings you'll find that he is a social man who insists on being where the people are. However, he may be a bit too spicy for children when he is feeling uneasy so an adult home is recommended for him. He has been declawed so must be an indoor only kitty. Junior is on a specific diet to keep his health in tip-top shape. If it sounds like you might be the one to show this little man a world of love, then come meet him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.
Junior’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
Kittens are also available at the The Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club, 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. At this location they all live in "colony rooms" with their fellow felines. Dogs are available here also. They spend their days ina large group area with other dogs. Viewing and adoption hours are 10-6 Monday-Friday; and 10-4 Saturday-Sunday.
