The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Joe. This handsome English Pointer is a fun and outgoing fella that is looking for an active home. Joe will need someone that can provide him with daily exercise and mental stimulation. He has a good start to his basic manners but he is eager to learn more. Joe would be a great candidate for advanced training classes and would love the opportunity to use his brain. He enjoys going on daily adventures and exploring the world around him. Joe lived outdoors in his previous home and is looking forward to the luxuries of indoor living. You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and from 10-9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Joe’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
