The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Jimmy. He is a shy four year old Chihuahua mix who is h oping to find his forever home with someone special. This little man needs time to adjust to his new surroundings and likes to get to know his people before he opens up. Jimmy will need an adults only home or one with older dog savvy children who will take things slowly with him and give him the time he needs to get settled . Once he has become familiar with you, he enjoys sitting on your lap, going for walks, and taking naps on a nice comfy bed. Jimmy has one big personality once warmed up. This little man has a lot to offer to someone whois willing to work with him and be patient. Jimmy is ready to find his person... will it be you! To meet Jimmy, ask at the Front Desk as he is not on the main adoption floor. A training consultation is included prior to Jimmy's adoption.
