Jenkins is a year old fellow that came from California as a part of our Second Chance Program. He's tiny-only weighs a bit over 7 lbs so fits perfectly in your lap! He's going to be a bit shy at first, but enjoys good dog treats and with patience and love will fit into your family!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of Day is Jenkins. He is a shy little Terrier mix that will need a home that can be patient with him and help him adjust to his new surroundings with support and encouragement. Jenkins enjoys being close to you and will want to be a part of what you are doing while he becomes a member of the family. He will make a great lap companion and be more than willing to join you on the couch or in bed whenever he gets the chance. Jenkins can't wait to be a part of something special. He came a long way to find his forever home from the Los Angeles area through our Second Chance Program. You can meet with Jenkins at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are Sun-Wed 10-7 and Thurs-Sat 10-9. Adoption hours are Sun-Wed 10-6:30 and Thurs-Sat 10-8:30.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
