The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is  Jenkins. He is a two year old active Siberian Husky mix searching for an active home. It will be essential for Jenkins to find a companion that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated. His enthusiasm and excitement for life is endearing but will need to be channeled into rigorous activities. If you are looking for a running, hiking, or any outdoor activity companion than we highly recommend Jenkins. He will need continued basic training and socialization to keep him the best canine he can be. Jenkins will need a home free of cats and other dogs. A training consultation is included prior to his adoption. You can meet him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Adoption hours end one half hour prior to closing each day.

Jenkins' adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
