Jazz is a seven month sleek black kitty. He is still a kitten at heart and likes all of the play things to do. Jazz is gentle and sweet and has lived with dogs, cats and children. What more can you want. This all around friend is ready to join your household!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Jazz. This sweet guy is as gentle as they come. His previous owner passed away and no one in the family could take him in. He is in search of a new family to shower him with love and affection. Jazz has a good history of living with other cats as well as dogs. He enjoys the company of children as well. Jazz can be best described as comical and playful.You can meet with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are Sun-Wed 10-7; Thurs-Sat 10-9. Adoption hours are Sun-Wed 10-6:30; Thurs-Sat-10-8:30.
Jazz’s adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
Cats are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club located at 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. Here they live in “colony rooms” with their fellow felines. Dogs are also available at this location. If you want to know if your best friend gets along with other dogs, this is the place to visit. Oregon Humane Society dogs spend their days in a large group area alongside other dogs a doggie day care facility. Adoption and viewing hours are 10-6 on Monday- Friday; and 10-4 on Saturday-Sunday.
