The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Jadas (shelter # 136027). She is a wonderful little lady who is a bit shy and would do well in a quiet home where she is allowed to adjust at her own pace. Jadas likes to show off when she's playing by working on her pouncing skills. She is a sweet, gentle lady that is excited to make you her new friend. She is currently living with other cats in Marios Mansion at the Oregon Humane Society and seems to be getting along with them,so she might enjoy having another kitty companion in her new home.Come Visit with her at the Oregon  Humane Socieity, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. visiting hours are 10am to 7pm on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10am to 9pm on Wednesday-Saturday. Adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day. Her adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!

Who wants to go to the mall during the busiest shopping day of the year? Instead, come to the Oregon Humane Society and get 50 percent off the adoption fee of any black or predominantly black adult pet on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving. You can adopt Jadas as a part of this promotion!
