Jabba: Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day

Jabba: Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day

Jabba's a cute little Chihuahua mix ready to joy in walks in the neighborhood, snuggle on your lap and learn about becoming your best friend. We don't know a lot about his background and feel that a basic manners class, such as offered at OHS, will help both of you get off to a great start as you learn about living and playing together.

Jabba is the Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day.  He is at our Westisde Adoption Center which is inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club on 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland 503-327-8219.  He is a cute little two and half year old Chihuahua mix that adores playing, running and snuggling. Jabba would also benefit from improving his skills through attending one of the Basic Manners Classes offered by the Oregon Humane Society with his new parents. This way the two would have the opportunity to learn together and start the beginning a new friendship learning together. Jabba has been waiting a while to find his perfect home and eager to find it. Yet sometimes he can be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you this should quickly change. He is not only handsome, but is a smart young fellow that will soon win a spot in your heart and family. Because of his size he will do best in a home with older dog savvy children than understand he is not a toy! Jabba's adopton fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, inital vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support.

Visiting and adoption hours for dogs at the Westside Adoption Center are 10-6 on Monday-Friday; and 10-4 on Saturday-Sunday. Call 503-327-8219 for availability.  Cats and kittens are also available at this location.
