The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Juno (104103). He is a special year and half old Hound mix who is looking for a special home. He is a little nervous when he is in new situations or when he is meeting new people. He needs a patient person who will help build his confidence and prevent him from entering situations where he will be overwhelmed. Juno was very thin when he came in and can be possessive of really good food or bones. He will need an adult only home. Playtime is a favorite time for Juno, he just LOVES to play. He likes stuffed toys, loves to go for walks and loves to be with his person. He would do best if he had a harness on when going for walks. He is the type of dog who likes to do things on his own terms. He would rather give a high five than a hug. You can be the one to help Juno realize his potential and become a great canine citizen. A training consult is included with his adoption. You can meet with Juno at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-258-7722) www.oregonhumane.org.
Juno's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy vet exam and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
