The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Jade (87677). She is nine year old Yorkshire Terrier searching for a new loving home. Jade is quite outgoing and am looking for someone who can teach her how to become an indoor companion. She has not yet been potty or leash trained but with positive reinforcement and some good treats for motivation, she will have the opportunity of learning the live of a house dog. She is not used to a normal dog life so should stay on a harness/leash when outdoors, as she might startle easily in new situations. Jade's ideal home would be with someone who will be patient with her as she has a lot to learn but that patience will pay off in unconditional love! Come visit Jade at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland. www.oregonhumane.org Jade's adoption fee includes spay, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!
