The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Jack D (111250). He is a six year old Chihuahua and is a handsome and loving man looking for his special someone to call his own. Jack D likes the car and would love someone to take him on their daily errands. He has lived with both cats and dogs and if you have a resident dog, a pet meet is required prior to his adoption. Some of Jack D's favorite things are treats, his toys and hanging with his people. He also knows his basic commands and is very gentle and loving when he gets to know you. He may still need some assistance with house training and we recommend crate training Jack D. If you have an adult-only home and are looking for a lap companion, we think Jack D is the guy for you. A training consultation is included in his adoption. You can visit with him at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland (503-258-7722) www.oregonhumane.org.
His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, one month pet insurance, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
