Igor is a handsome fellow looking for a quiet low-key home where his new family will give him time to slowly adjust to his new living facilities and provide him with love, understanding, a nice soft bed while he learns what it is like to be a truely pampered house cat!

The Oregon Humane Society’s Cat of the Day is Igor (shelter # 97076). If you're looking for a laid back kind of kitty Igor just might be the one for you. He can be apprehensive in new situations but with a little encouragement he warms up quickly. Igor would do best in a quiet home as the only cat with no dogs and without children or older cat experienced children. He is a sensitive guy who is looking for a chance to find his forever home. Igor will need plenty of time to adjust to his new home and surroundings so a patient and understanding family would be best for this big fellow. You can meet with Igor at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10 to 7 on Sunday-Wednesday; and 10 to 9 on Thursday-Saturday. Hours for adoptions end one half hour prior to closing each day. We are closed on New Year’s Day.

The special December (ends 12-31-2012) Home for the Holidays adoption fee of $12 includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
