The Oregon Humane Society's Dog of the Day is Hudson. This handsome, strapping Labrador/Pointer is about two and a half years old . He enjoys outdoor adventures with his people. Hudson has had some training and knows plenty of tricks. He will need continued exercise and activity to keep him healthy and happy. Chasing and running can get the best of Hudson, so he still needs lots of training and treats to ensure he will listen off leash. If you are looking for a running and hiking companion then Hudson may be your guy. He will do best in a home with children old enough to handle his size as he weighs close to 70 pounds and a house without cats will be best as he may think they are a toy to play with and to chase. If you have a resident canine friend a pet meet will be essential prior to adoption. Medical and training consults are included in his adoption. You can meet with Hudson at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Visiting hours are 10-7 on Sunday to Wednesday; and 10-9 on Thursday to Saturday. Adoption hours end ond half hour prior to closing each day.

Hudson's adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS I.D. tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.
