The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Week is Howie (shelter #92241). He is a very happy boy! Howie is a four year old Pekingese mix who is looking for his forever home. He loves attention and going for walks. Howie is easily startled by fast movements and loud noises and does not like being fussed with. For these reasons, he will need to find a home without children. Howie has strong opinions about his likes and dislikes and will let you know when he is not pleased. He does not like other dogs or cats and will need to be the only pet. He will need a patient and understanding companion who will take the time to figure out all of Howie's needs, and accommodate his preferences. If your home is the right match for Howie, he will make a wonderful companion and will share all of his energy, love, and personality with his favorite people. A training consult is included prior to meeting with Howie. You can meet with Howie at the Oregon Humane Society,1067 NE
Howie’s adoption fee includes /neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support. Availability is subject to prior adoption.
