The Oregon Humane Society’s Dog of the Day is Honey. He is a five year old Chow Chow mix that can't wait to find his new best friend in life. This fellow is looking for a place to call his own and a companion to spend lots of time with. Honey would enjoy going places with you and becoming familiar with his new surroundings with you by his side. His handsome face and endearing personality will capture your heart and make you ask yourself how you ever lived without him. His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip ID, collar and OHS ID tag, initial vaccines, courtesy veterinarian exam, 30 days free PetPlan health insurance and plenty of post adoption support! Availability is subject to prior adoption.

You can meet with Honey at the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland 503-285-7722. Viewing hours are 10-7 Sun-Wed and 10-9 Thurs-Sat. Adoption hours are 10-6:30 Sun-Wed and 10-8:30 Thurs-Sat.

Dogs are also available at the Oregon Humane Society’s Westside Adoption Center located inside of Lexi Dog Boutique and Social Club, 6100 SW Macadam Ave., Portland. If you want know if your potential new best friend gets along with other dogs, this is the place to visit. OHS dogs spend their days in a large group area alongside other dogs in a doggie day care facility. OHS kittens are also available for adoption here and they all live in "colony rooms" with their fellow felines. Visiting and adoption hours are 10-6 Monday-Friday; and 10-4 Saturday-Sunday at the Westside Adoption Center.
